There are many different ways that information is spread. The differences between these different ways can be very significant. The article about Miss. Emilie Gossiaux is a very heart tugging and emotional one in both the radio medium and the Electronic Article. The print in my opinion was less personal and more formal than the Radio segment. The radio segment was very personal because the voices gave life to the piece.they gave emotion and character to the words that the written article could never do. The writing is kind of "dead" because of the fact that there are not as many heart tugging moments as with the radio.
I think that hearing is much better then reading because it gives the listener a voice to go with the person, it gives the story life, and it gives the emotional aspect of the peroles voices that print can never do. Reading is also time consuming and needs to be focused on while doing it. listening is much more easier to do when on the run as many people are always on and it is hands free with modern technology. Listening to media is the better way, for me, to gain knowledge and understanding about the topic i am interested in rather then reading about it.
The only medium for spreading news that is better then radio is television. I think television gets the viewer interested and involved with the actors/ reporters and gets a inside look into the people that are speaking. It also shows the emotional aspect of the human mind. When we see someone that is emotional hurting then we reach out, but when we read about it it is not as powerful a feeling as seeing it with your own eyes.
